Whether dealing with Crown Court cases or assisting people under arrest at the police station, Rebecca works hard to ensure that her clients are informed, supported and well-represented at every step of the process. Organised, proactive and highly capable, she focuses on delivering a compassionate, person-first approach which puts clients at ease and gives them every confidence that they’re in safe hands.
Building trust through communication
“I think there’s nothing more important than being able to build trust and confidence with my clients. They’re often in a stressful, uncertain situation, so I see it as my job to put them at ease and let them know I have their best interests at heart. I want them to know their case is important – and part of that is always answering their calls and keeping them in the loop so they never have to wonder what’s happening next.”
Staying organised
“You’ve got to be very organised in this job. I need to stay on top of every detail – whether that’s court dates, documents or expert reports. There’s no room for error or to let anything slip. And when you consider I’m handling multiple cases – some which can go on for years, that can be quite a challenge – but one that I thrive on!”
A strong team
“We all pull together here – and I think that’s what really sets us apart. Whenever I’m really busy or up against a deadline, someone will step in to help without giving it a second thought. We’re all constantly in touch, sharing information and ensuring our clients get everything they need. And by being quick to respond, quick to call back, our clients see that we care – and that’s why they keep coming back to us.”
Instilling confidence
“I know that sometimes when you’re younger, clients can be worried that you’re not qualified to help them. I absolutely am. So it’s up to me to take charge of the situation, explain in clear terms what’s going to happen and give them confidence that I can handle their case – and they’ll be very well represented.”
