Katie completed a law degree at the University of the West of England in 2004 and went on to study a Masters Degree in International Law at the University of Bristol in 2006. She then qualified as a Barrister in 2008 and in 2010 undertook the Qualified Lawyers Transfer Test and was admitted as a solicitor that same year. In 2011, Katie was awarded her Higher Rights of Audience in all criminal courts and appears as a trial advocate before the Crown Court as well as the Magistrates’ Court and Youth Court. Katie joined Sansbury Douglas as a Partner in 2017 and is Head of the Crown Court Department.
